Terms of service

The service

Glimmer is a daily astrology and tarot ritual provided by Prologue Machines, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Glimmer is for reflection and entertainment. Readings, cosmic weather, and card meanings are for reflection, not prediction. They are not medical, legal, financial, or mental-health advice, and you should not rely on them to make decisions in those areas.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Glimmer. If your birth date shows you are under 18, the app does not create an account.

Your account

You sign in with Apple, with Google, or with a one-time code sent to your email. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in method secure and for activity under your account.

• Give accurate information, including your birth details. To change the email address on your account, contact us.
• Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

Membership and free trial

Glimmer is a subscription. A membership renews automatically at the end of each billing period, monthly or annually, at the price shown when you subscribed, until you cancel. The price, billing period, and renewal terms are shown before you confirm a purchase.

The Annual plan includes a 7-day free trial for members who have never subscribed. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your Annual membership starts and you are charged the Annual price on the day the trial ends. Monthly has no free trial.

You may be offered a returning Annual price, for example after you decline the paywall or end a trial or membership. A membership bought at that price renews yearly at that price until you cancel.

Billing, cancellation, and refunds

Who bills you depends on where you subscribed. Memberships bought in the iPhone app are billed by Apple through the App Store; memberships bought in the Android app are billed by Google through Google Play.

• App Store: cancel in your Apple account subscription settings. Refund requests go to Apple, and Apple’s refund policies apply.
• Google Play: cancel in your Google Play subscription settings. Refund requests go to Google, and Google’s refund policies apply.
• Deleting the app does not cancel a membership. Cancel it where you subscribed.
• Deleting your account does not cancel an App Store or Google Play membership. Cancel it in the store.

AI-generated content

Your daily texts and your tarot readings may be written with AI from your chart, the cards you draw, and the details and questions you give. To write them, Glimmer sends anonymized details, never your name, email address, or birth details, to a third-party AI provider as part of the service, as the privacy policy describes. When AI is unavailable, readings are composed from Glimmer’s own written content. AI-written readings can be imperfect.

Acceptable use

Do not use the service to:

• Break the law or infringe anyone else’s rights.
• Upload malware or attempt to disrupt, probe, or gain unauthorized access to the service.
• Harass, abuse, or harm other people.
• Copy, resell, or redistribute the service or its content without our written permission.

Your content

You keep ownership of what you write in the service, such as intentions and the questions you ask the cards. You grant us the limited permission needed to store, process, and show it to you to operate the service, and to show the readings you choose to share on their public pages.

If you add another person for a compatibility reading, you confirm that you have their permission to use their name and birth details.

Termination

You can stop using the service at any time and delete your account in the app (You › Settings › Delete account), or by emailing support@joinglimmer.com from the address you sign in with. Deletion removes your account data as described in the privacy policy.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put the service or other people at risk. Where reasonable we will give notice first.

Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the extent the law allows. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, to the extent the law allows. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be waived.

Changes to these terms

When we change these terms, we email you at least 30 days before the change takes effect, with a summary of what changed and a link to this page. Continuing to use the service after that date means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Disputes are resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim in your local courts.
